Mescalito is a trip-hop project created by Luke Shepherd and Derek O'Sullivan in the early 90s. Their debut album, One Path In A Million, was released in 2000 and became a cult classic. We Disappeared in Style, released a year later, is a collection of B-sides, remixes, and rarities. The album was made too quickly, but it still showcases the band's signature sound of heavy rhythms and contrasting warm, tropical vibes. The tracklist includes Botnik, Voodoo Gold, Sentence Deferred, Songai, Overproof, Reliance, 1/2 Tested (Bent Remix), Lovegate (Skylab Remix), and Nothing Left (Edit).
